On October 6, 2024, a rice distribution program was successfully conducted at Chitla Union Parishad. The event was organized by Subah Samajik Unnayan Sangstha, under the guidance and support of the Department of Women Affairs, which operates under the Ministry of Women and Children Affairs.

This initiative aimed to support economically vulnerable women who are enrolled under the VWB (Vulnerable Women Benefit) program, ensuring access to essential food supplies.
