On October 17, 2024, a significant program was held at Jehala Union Parishad under the Alamdanga Upazila in Chuadanga. The event was organized by Subah Samajik Unnayan Sangstha with the support of the Department of Women Affairs, operating under the Ministry of Women and Children Affairs.
The program was aimed at empowering Vulnerable Group Development (VGD/WVB) beneficiaries by providing them with income-generating training along with the distribution of rice as part of their social safety net support.
