With the aim of empowering rural women towards self-reliance and sustainable livelihoods, a comprehensive Income-Generating Training Program was held at Jihala Union Parishad under Alamdanga Upazila. The training was conducted by Subah Samajik Unnayan Sangstha, under the supervision and support of the Department of Women Affairs, which operates under the Ministry of Women and Children Affairs.
This session was part of the broader Vulnerable Group Development (VGD) initiative. The training focused on practical skills development for selected women beneficiaries, helping them explore new income opportunities through micro-enterprises and small-scale ventures.
The participants were enthusiastic and engaged, reflecting a strong desire to break barriers and contribute economically to their families and communities. The event highlighted the positive role that government and NGO partnerships can play in transforming lives at the grassroots level.
