Meherpur, 16 December 2025:
On the occasion of Victory Day 2025, the ADAB (Association of Development Agencies in Bangladesh) Meherpur District Branch organized a rally and tribute program to honor the martyrs of the Liberation War. The day’s events began with the placement of floral wreaths at the Shaheed Memorial, followed by a colorful rally that paraded through the main streets of the town.
Members of ADAB’s Meherpur District Branch, representatives of various development organizations, and local well-wishers actively participated in the program. Participants emphasized that the independence achieved through the great Liberation War is the nation’s greatest accomplishment, and it is essential to pass on the spirit of the Liberation War to future generations.
The banner carried during the rally read:
“The independence achieved through the great Liberation War is the supreme achievement of the Bangalee nation. Wishing everyone a successful Victory Day.”
Speakers further highlighted that Victory Day is not only a celebration but also a moment of reflection—an opportunity to reaffirm commitment to national development, unity, and the values of humanity and justice.
