To promote self-reliance and enhance the livelihoods of women in rural communities, Subah Samajik Unnayan Sangstha successfully organized an Income-Generating Training and Rice Distribution Program for VGD (Vulnerable Group Development) beneficiaries at Tetulbaria Union Parishad in Gangni Upazila.

This initiative, carried out with the support of the Department of Women Affairs under the Ministry of Women and Children Affairs, aims to strengthen food security and provide skill development opportunities for economically disadvantaged women.

The training focused on practical techniques to improve household income, while each beneficiary also received rice as part of the program’s nutritional support. The event witnessed active participation from local women who expressed their gratitude and eagerness to apply the knowledge gained.

Such events highlight the power of effective collaboration between government and non-government organizations in uplifting the lives of marginalized communities and fostering inclusive development.
