On May 9, 2024, a comprehensive income-generating training and rice distribution program was conducted at the Nagdah Union Parishad under Alamdanga Upazila, Chuadanga district. The event was organized by Subah Samajik Unnayan Sangstha with the support of the Department of Women Affairs, operating under the Ministry of Women and Children Affairs.

The initiative focused on empowering VGD (Vulnerable Group Development) beneficiaries, equipping them with essential livelihood skills while also meeting immediate food security needs.
