Mujibnagar Khobor, May 18, 2024, On the occasion of World No Tobacco Day, a discussion meeting was organized by Subah Samajik Unnayan Sangstha at its office premises in Amjhupi, Meherpur.

The program focused on raising awareness about the harmful effects of tobacco use and the importance of creating a smoke-free environment for public health. Speakers highlighted the need for stronger enforcement of the Tobacco Control Act and urged community members to participate in anti-tobacco campaigns to protect the younger generation.

Community leaders, local representatives, health officials, and civil society members were present and expressed their commitment to working together for a tobacco-free future.
