Overview of the Event

On June 3, 2024, an impactful program was held at Ailhans Union Parishad under Alamdanga Upazila. This event was part of the VGD (Vulnerable Group Development) initiative, organized by Subah Samajik Unnayan Sangstha, with the active support of the Department of Women Affairs, under the Ministry of Women and Children Affairs.

Income-Generating Skills Training

The primary focus of the program was to provide income-generating training to women under the VGD program. These sessions were tailored to help women learn practical skills that can lead to sustainable income, improved living conditions, and financial independence.

Nutritional Support Through Rice Distribution

To complement the training, rice was distributed among the VGD beneficiaries to ensure food security and reduce financial burden. This dual effort of training and material support helps uplift underprivileged women both economically and nutritionally.

A Step Towards Sustainable Empowerment

This initiative showcases the ongoing commitment of Subah Samajik Unnayan Sangstha to empowering women at the grassroots level. By collaborating with government bodies, the organization continues to build pathways for long-term development and social upliftment in rural communities.
