🌸 Supporting the Beneficiaries of the Vulnerable Women Benefit (VWB) Program

On July 3, 2024, a significant event was organized under the Vulnerable Women Benefit (VWB) program at Jehala Union Parishad, Alamdanga Upazila. The initiative was supported by the Department of Women Affairs, under the Ministry of Women and Children Affairs, and implemented by the dedicated efforts of Subah Samajik Unnayan Sangstha.

đź§µ Income-Generating Training for Women

The event featured income-generating training sessions for the VWB beneficiaries. These trainings were designed to enhance the participants’ ability to earn independently by learning skills such as tailoring, small entrepreneurship, or local crafts — ultimately aiming to improve their socio-economic status.

🍚 Rice Distribution for Essential Support

Alongside training, rice was distributed to all attending beneficiaries to provide immediate support with daily necessities. This step reflects both humanitarian concern and the government’s commitment to improving the lives of marginalized women in rural areas.

🤝 Collective Action for Upliftment

The success of this program highlights the collaborative work between government departments and grassroots organizations. Subah Samajik Unnayan Sangstha continues to serve as a trusted implementation partner in ensuring programs like VWB reach those most in need, bringing both skill development and essential resources directly to rural communities.
