On 5th September 2024, the District Monthly Coordination Meeting was held under the chairmanship of the Deputy Director, Department of Women Affairs, Chuadanga.

The meeting focused on ongoing women and child development initiatives across the district, with a special emphasis on the Vulnerable Group Development for Ultra Poor (VGD/VWB) program.

As part of this initiative, Subah Samajik Unnayan Sangstha, in collaboration with the Department of Women Affairs, is currently implementing VWB activities in Alamdanga Upazila. These activities include income-generating training and food support for underprivileged women to promote self-reliance and improve their standard of living.

The meeting was attended by Mr. Moin-ul-Alam, the Chief Executive of Subah Samajik Unnayan Sangstha, who shared updates on the progress of the organization’s programs and reaffirmed their commitment to women’s empowerment and community development.
