The program aimed to equip rural women with skills that would help increase their income and support sustainable livelihoods. Alongside the training, rice was distributed to the participants, ensuring short-term food security while they pursue long-term economic empowerment.
Through this initiative, the beneficiaries received:
-
Practical training focused on income-generating activities
-
Essential food support (rice distribution)
-
Motivation to become more self-reliant and contribute to their families’ well-being
The event saw active participation from the local community and reflects a growing collaboration between the government and NGOs like Subah to uplift underprivileged women in rural Bangladesh.
