🌾 Training & Rice Distribution to Empower VGD Beneficiaries at Hardi Union

Under the guidance and support of the Department of Women Affairs, Subah Samajik Unnayan Sangstha organized a training and rice distribution event for VGD (Vulnerable Group Development) beneficiaries at Hardi Union Parishad in Alamdanga Upazila.

The event was focused on enhancing income-generating capabilities of the participating women. In addition to hands-on training sessions, each participant received a rice distribution package as immediate nutritional support.

🎯 Objectives of the Program:

  • Empower vulnerable women with skills to generate income
  • Provide short-term food relief to support their households
  • Promote self-reliance and dignity among women in rural communities

The training included practical discussions on small-scale entrepreneurship, household income strategies, and personal development. Participants were also encouraged to apply the skills in their daily lives to uplift their economic conditions.

This initiative demonstrates a strong collaboration between government agencies and grassroots organizations to improve the livelihood of underprivileged women in rural Bangladesh.
