Chuadanga: 

Bangladesh NGO Foundation Day was observed in Chuadanga with the theme:

“Patriotism, Human Welfare, Integrity, and Neutrality – We Are Determined.”

On Tuesday at 10 AM, representatives of eight partner organizations under the Bangladesh NGO Foundation working in Chuadanga handed over their annual reports to the Deputy Commissioner.

A colorful rally was then inaugurated by Deputy Commissioner Md. Delowar Hossain. He praised the foundation’s transparency and contribution to grassroots NGOs and their role in implementing development projects that complement government efforts.

The rally marched through the main roads of Chuadanga town and concluded at the RISO office, where a discussion session was held.

Discussion Session:

Presided over by Zahidul Islam (Executive Director of RISO and General Council Member of the NGO Foundation).

Chief Guest: Md. Atiar Rahman, Deputy Director, Department of Social Services.

The event began with a recitation from the Qur’an and welcome remarks were delivered by the participants.

Meherpur:

In Meherpur, the day was observed through a joint effort of the District Administration and the Bangladesh NGO Foundation’s local partners.

At 9 AM, a rally led by Deputy Commissioner Mahmud Hossain started from the District Shilpakala Academy and ended at the DC office premises.

Later, a discussion session was held at the DC’s conference room, presided over by Moin-ul-Alam, Executive Director of Subah Samajik Unnayan Songstha.
