VWB Program Cycle
On behalf of the Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, in collaboration with the Department of Women’s Affairs under the Ministry of Women and Children Affairs, the Subah SamajikUnnayanSangstha is implementing the Vulnerable Women Benefits (VWB) Program in 15 unions of Aolamdana of Meherpur district and 9 unions of Gangni upazila.
The VWB program is the largest social safety program of the government, which conducting only to improve the quality of life of women members in rural very poor households. In addition to food assistance (job skills, income-generating training, savings and loans), 2,167 women in MujbinagarUpazila and Gangni Upazila of Maherpur are getting monthly assistance through this program. Subah Samaik Unnayan Sangstha is implementing the training program.
