Awareness Program on the Harmful Effects of Junk Food with Support from CAB

With the support of the Consumers Association of Bangladesh (CAB), a special awareness program on the harmful effects of junk food was held at Amjhupi Government Primary School in Meherpur Sadar Upazila.

🎯 Objective of the Program:

The primary goal of the initiative was to promote healthy eating habits among children and raise awareness about the negative impacts of junk food.

Students were informed that excessive consumption of junk food can lead to:

  • Obesity
  • Dental problems
  • Digestive issues
  • Long-term health complications

🧠 Program Highlights:

  • An interactive session was conducted with the students to help them understand the differences between junk food and nutritious food.
  • The initiative also involved raising awareness among parents through teachers, encouraging them to guide their children toward healthier eating choices.
