Bangladesh NGO Foundation Day 2025 was celebrated in Meherpur with due respect and enthusiasm. The event was jointly organized by the District Administration and the partner organizations working under the Bangladesh NGO Foundation in the district.
The celebration began with a colorful rally that paraded through the main streets and concluded at the CDP office premises. Following the rally, a discussion meeting was held at the CDP conference room.
The program was presided over by Mr. Moin-ul-Alam, Executive Director of Subah Samajik Unnayan Sangstha. The chief guest at the event was Mr. Md. Ashadul Islam, Deputy Director of the Department of Social Services, Meherpur.
The discussion session was conducted by Mr. Abu Zafar, Executive Director of Sandhani.
In his welcome address, Mr. Moin-ul-Alam, the representative of the Bangladesh NGO Foundation in Meherpur, highlighted the importance of collective development initiatives and the contributions of local NGOs.

Speakers emphasized the vital role of NGOs in grassroots development, social progress, and community welfare. They also discussed field-level challenges and stressed the importance of greater coordination among organizations for sustainable development.
The rally and discussion program saw the participation of NGO leaders, officers, beneficiaries, and people from various professions, making the event lively and engaging.
