Basic Literacy Education Delivered to 18,000 Beneficiaries in Gangni Upazila

With the support of the Bureau of Non-Formal Education under the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education, and implemented by Subah Samajik Unnayan Sangstha, the Basic Literacy Project (64 District Program) has been successfully completed in Gangni Upazila, Meherpur District.

Major Achievements of the Project:

 

✅ Establishment of 300 learning centers
✅ Classes conducted in two shifts
✅ Recruitment and training of 600 qualified teachers
✅ Literacy education provided to 18,000 learners

📌 Male learners: 9,000
📌 Female learners: 9,000

Project Goals and Objectives:

 

📌 Provide basic education to illiterate individuals
📌 Ensure skill development in reading, writing, and basic numeracy
📌 Create equal learning opportunities for both men and women
📌 Deliver education that is relevant to daily life and practical needs
