District-Level NGO Coordination Meeting Held in Meherpur 2018

Meherpur News, July 2, 2018, An NGO coordination meeting was held on Monday afternoon at the conference hall of the Department of Women Affairs in Meherpur, organized by the department itself to enhance collaboration among NGOs working in the region.

 

The meeting was presided over by SM Shafiul Azam, District Women Affairs Officer. Speakers included Nazma Khatun, Women Affairs Officer of Gangni Upazila; John P. Biswas, Coordinator of CDP; and Moin-ul-Alam, Executive Director of Subah Samajik Unnayan Sangstha.

 

The discussion focused on improving alignment between government programs and NGO initiatives, particularly concerning women’s development and empowerment. Representatives also shared updates on ongoing activities and future plans under various NGOs and the District Women’s Affairs Office.
