On May 29, 2024, a significant community event was held at Tetulbaria Union Parishad, under Gangni Upazila, as part of the VWB initiative. The event was organized by Subah Samajik Unnayan Sangstha, with the support of the Department of Women Affairs under the Ministry of Women and Children Affairs.

The main objectives of the event were:

  • To provide income-generating training to the beneficiaries of the Vulnerable Women Benefit (VWB) program.

  • To distribute essential food support in the form of rice, aiming to improve food security among low-income women.
