๐ŸŒพ VWB Beneficiaries Receive Training and Rice Support

On June 30, 2024, a significant event took place at Nagdah Union Parishad in Alamdanga Upazila, implemented by Subah Samajik Unnayan Sangstha under the supervision of the Department of Women Affairs, Ministry of Women and Children Affairs. The event was organized as part of the VWB (Vulnerable Women Benefit) initiative.

The program focused on enhancing the economic capacity of underprivileged women through income-generating training and essential food distribution, especially rice. This dual approach aims to provide both immediate relief and long-term empowerment for women in vulnerable situations.

๐Ÿ’ผ Building Sustainable Livelihoods

The training modules conducted during the event aimed at skill development in areas that can contribute to household income generation. Women were trained in practical activities that suit their local context, creating new opportunities for self-employment and small-scale entrepreneurship.

Alongside this, rice was distributed to each of the participating beneficiaries, ensuring they also receive direct support to meet daily nutritional needs.

๐ŸŒŸ Continuing the Journey of Upliftment

This initiative reflects the ongoing commitment of Subah Samajik Unnayan Sangstha to support rural women through capacity-building and social safety nets. By collaborating with the Department of Women Affairs, they are reaching women who need assistance the most and helping them stand on their own feet.

Each event like this strengthens community resilience and builds a path toward a more inclusive and empowered future.
