🌾 Program Overview

On May 6, 2024, an important event was held at the Dhankhola Union Parishad under Gangni Upazila, focusing on the development and support of VWB (Vulnerable Women Benefit) beneficiaries. The event was a joint initiative carried out by Subah Samajik Unnayan Sangstha, in collaboration with the Department of Women Affairs, operating under the Ministry of Women and Children Affairs.

This initiative aimed to provide income-generating training to vulnerable women, helping them gain essential skills and knowledge for creating sustainable livelihoods. In addition to the training, rice was distributed to the participants to offer immediate relief and nutritional support.

🧑‍🌾 Empowering Women in Rural Bangladesh

The income-generating training covered practical skills suited to the local context, enabling women to take steps toward financial independence. These programs are part of a broader vision to reduce poverty, increase self-reliance, and foster community development in marginalized rural areas.

The rice distribution further ensured that beneficiaries received short-term support to meet their basic needs, reinforcing the long-term goals of the initiative.

🤝 A Commitment to Inclusive Development

Subah Samajik Unnayan Sangstha continues to play a crucial role in implementing grassroots programs in coordination with government institutions. By reaching women at the local level, especially in areas like Dhankhola Union, the organization contributes to building a more inclusive and equitable society.
