Exchange Meeting on “The Role of NGOs in Grassroots Development” Held in Meherpur

An exchange meeting titled “The Role of NGOs in Grassroots Development in Meherpur District” was held under the chairmanship of Ms. Sifat Mehnaz, Deputy Commissioner of Meherpur.

The event was graced by Mr. Monir Haydar, Special Assistant (Consensus) to the Honorable Chief Adviser, with the rank of Senior Secretary, who attended as the Chief Guest.

Speakers at the meeting discussed the significant contributions of non-governmental organizations (NGOs) in promoting rural development, women’s empowerment, poverty reduction, and social awareness at the grassroots level.

The Chief Guest emphasized the importance of collaboration between government agencies and NGOs to achieve sustainable development goals and ensure inclusive growth in every sector of society.

The meeting reflected the shared commitment of the Meherpur District Administration and local NGOs to work together for the socio-economic progress of the people of Meherpur.
