Implementation of “Subah Green Bank” (Green Savings Program) to Empower Marginalized Families

In a meaningful step toward socio-economic development, Subah Samajik Unnayan Sangstha has launched the “Subah Green Bank (Green Savings Program)” with the goal of empowering the poorest families through sustainable and environment-friendly practices.

📌 Objectives of the Program:

 

✅ Increase self-reliance among low-income families
✅ Promote eco-friendly agricultural activities
✅ Ensure food and nutritional security

 

📌 Beneficiary Families:

 

Under this initiative, 14 disadvantaged families received a variety of fruit, forest, and vegetable seeds to support household-level gardening and cultivation.

📌 Program Inauguration:

 

🎉 The initiative was officially inaugurated by the Honorable Deputy Commissioner of Meherpur District, marking the beginning of a greener and more self-reliant future for the community.

🎯 Expected Outcomes:

 

✅ Families will become capable of producing their own food
✅ Surplus produce can be sold in the market to generate income
✅ The initiative will contribute to increased greenery and promote sustainable environmental practices

This green savings program not only strengthens household economies but also supports ecological balance—paving the way for long-term development rooted in sustainability and community empowerment.
