Income-Generating Training for VGD Beneficiaries Held in Gangni’s Tetulbaria Union, Gangni, Meherpur

On April 1, 2024, an income-generating skills training session was held at the Tetulbaria Union Parishad hall room under Gangni Upazila. The program was organized by Subah Samajik Unnayan Sangstha with the support of the Department of Women Affairs, operating under the Ministry of Women and Children Affairs.

 

This training session targeted Vulnerable Group Development (VGD) beneficiaries, aiming to improve their life skills and create pathways toward sustainable income generation.

🔹 Key Objectives:

 

  • Enhance practical skills for self-reliant livelihoods
  • Support economic empowerment of underprivileged women
  • Encourage active participation in local development

 

Participants received hands-on guidance on small-scale entrepreneurship, basic financial literacy, and techniques to improve income streams through local resources.

This initiative reflects a broader commitment to empowering rural women and reducing poverty through capacity-building and sustainable development.
