Life Skills and Income-Generating Training for VGD Beneficiaries Held in Mujibnagar

On July 31, 2018Subah Samajik Unnayan Sangstha, in collaboration with the Department of Women Affairs, organized a special Life Skills and Income-Generating Training Program for Vulnerable Group Development (VGD) members. The event took place at the Mahajanpur Union Parishad Hall Room in Mujibnagar Upazila.

 

 

🛠️ Training Focus:

The training was designed to enhance the participants’ capacity in areas such as:

  •  Basic life skills for self-reliance
  • Income-generating techniques suitable for rural settings
  • Confidence-building and social empowerment

👩‍🏫 Trainers:

 

The sessions were conducted by Subah’s dedicated field trainersShanta Khatun and Bashed Ali, who used interactive methods to engage and educate the participants.

🧾 Official Visit:

 

The training was visited and supervised by Mr. Tajul Islam, the Upazila Women Affairs Officer of Mujibnagar, who appreciated the initiative and encouraged the participants to apply their learning in real-life situations.

This training program is part of Subah’s ongoing commitment to promote women’s empowerment through skill development and economic self-sufficiency, especially among the most vulnerable groups in society.
