Life Skills and Income Generation Training for VWB Beneficiaries in Dhankhola Union Gangni Upazila, Meherpur

  • As part of an ongoing initiative to empower underprivileged women, a Life Skills and Income Generation Training program was held on February 29, 2024, at the Dhankhola Union Parishad Hall Room in Gangni Upazila. The training was implemented by Subah Samajik Unnayan Sangstha with the support of the Department of Women Affairs, under the Ministry of Women and Children Affairs.

 

 

🎯 Objectives:

 

  • To build essential life skills among women beneficiaries of the Vulnerable Women Benefit (VWB) program
  • To foster economic resilience through training in income-generating activities
  • To enhance self-reliance and community participation

 

📚 Training Highlights:

 

  • Basics of small business planning
  • Health, hygiene, and nutrition awareness
  • Confidence building and communication skills

 

This initiative reflects a committed effort to support women from vulnerable backgrounds in transforming their lives through knowledge, skills, and opportunities.
