Meeting Held with Alamdanga Upazila VWB Project Staff

With the support of the Department of Women Affairs under the Ministry of Women and Children Affairs, and implemented by Subah Samajik Unnayan Sangstha, a meeting was held with all field staff working under the “Vulnerable Women Benefit (VWB) Income-Generating Project” in Alamdanga Upazila.

During the meeting, participants discussed various operational challenges and received important guidance to ensure smooth and effective implementation of the project.

In addition, the session included an in-depth discussion on the Positive Social Change Program, focusing on the harmful effects of child marriage and exploring strategies to eliminate this social curse. The meeting also emphasized ways to involve marginalized and underprivileged women in ongoing development initiatives to foster empowerment and inclusivity.

Distinguished attendees at the event included Mr. Munshi Jahangir Jinnat, Honorable Chairman of Subah Samajik Unnayan Sangstha; Mr. Moin-Ul-Alam, Chief Executive; Ms. Lubna Yasmin, Admin; and Ms. Farida Parvin, Program Coordinator.

Through such coordination meetings, Subah Samajik Unnayan Sangstha continues to strengthen its field operations and promote sustainable, inclusive development for women and communities across Bangladesh.
