Savings Refund Distribution Ceremony for VWB Beneficiaries of the 2023–2024 Cycle Held at Saharbari Union Parishad

The Savings Refund Distribution Ceremony for the Vulnerable Women Benefit (VWB) Program under the 2023–2024 cycle was successfully held at the Saharbari Union Parishad.

The event was organized by Subah Samajik Unnayan Sangstha, with the support of the Upazila Administration and the Upazila Department of Women Affairs, Gangni.

The program was presided over by Ms. Asma Khatun, Panel Chairman of Saharbari Union Parishad. The Chief Guest of the event was Ms. Nasima Khatun, Upazila Women Affairs Officer, Gangni.

Also present at the event were bank officers, Union Parishad members, Mr. Moin-Ul-Alam, Executive Director of Subah Samajik Unnayan Sangstha, and NGO representatives Ms. Farida Parvin and Ms. Shefali Khatun.

During the event, the Chief Guest, Ms. Nasima Khatun, delivered an encouraging speech to the VWB beneficiaries, highlighting the importance of savings management, women’s financial independence, and their contribution to social and economic development.

This event marked the successful completion of the VWB 2023–2024 cycle in Saharbari Union, reflecting the joint efforts of the Department of Women Affairs, Upazila Administration, and Subah Samajik Unnayan Sangstha in promoting women’s empowerment and sustainable community growth.
