Empowering Vulnerable Women Through Training and Support

On June 2, 2024, a significant event took place at Chitla Union Parishad in Alamdanga Upazila, aimed at supporting women under the VWB (Vulnerable Women Benefit)  program. This program was conducted by Subah Samajik Unnayan Sangstha, in close collaboration with the Department of Women Affairs under the Ministry of Women and Children Affairs.

Focus on Income-Generating Skills

The event featured income-generating training for the VWB beneficiaries. These training sessions were designed to provide the women with practical skills that could help them generate sustainable income in their daily lives. This initiative plays a key role in creating pathways to economic independence and empowerment for marginalized women.

Distribution of Rice for Food Security

In addition to the training, essential rice was distributed to the beneficiaries. This ensured that while the long-term goal of self-sufficiency was being addressed through skill development, the immediate need for food security was also taken care of.

Working Together for a Better Tomorrow

Subah Samajik Unnayan Sangstha is committed to working alongside government bodies to uplift the most vulnerable segments of society—especially rural women. This initiative at Chitla Union reflects a joint effort toward building a more inclusive and self-reliant community.
