Under the government’s Vulnerable Women Benefit (VWB) program, a special income-generating training and rice distribution event was organized at Dauki Union Parishad. This initiative was a collaborative effort between the Department of Women Affairs and Subah Samajik Unnayan Sangstha, aimed at empowering women in vulnerable situations by equipping them with essential livelihood skills and food support.

🎯 Objectives:

  • To strengthen the economic resilience of VWB beneficiaries

  • To provide hands-on training for income-generating activities

  • To ensure nutritional support through rice distribution

The program included practical workshops focused on small-scale entrepreneurship, self-employment opportunities, and personal development strategies. At the conclusion of the training, rice was distributed to all participating women to support their households during the training period.

This event reflects the commitment of both government and non-government actors to foster sustainable development and economic empowerment among rural women.
